“SACRIFICE VALOR & GRIT Erie County in the Civil War” Exhibit Public Opening Saturday, January 7, 2017
The Federal City Brass Band will be performing live throughout the day this Saturday, January 7th, in Erie at the Watson-Curtze Mansion Hagen History Center for the public opening of “SACRIFICE VALOR & GRIT Erie County in the Civil War”. The event opens at 11:00am and runs until 7:00pm. This exhibition “kick-off” is open to the public and a great opportunity to view a once-in-a-lifetime collection of local artifacts and honor our region and its people’s r…ich history through a vibrant and interactive celebration. The band’s leader and bugler is the leading expert on the haunting melody of “TAPS”. Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Mr. Thomas B. Admission prices: $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, $5 for students and children 6 & under are free. The exhibit will remain open through Labor Day 2017.
